Its tactile probe system captures the complete surface profile in one stroke, and the software automatically separates roughness and contour for independent evaluation. This gives you fast, reliable results without switching instruments or repositioning the part.

The SD 140 AG 11 uses a manual 140 mm X‑axis, giving operators full control over positioning while maintaining excellent repeatability. The Z‑axis includes both quick and fine adjustment, making it easy to align the drive unit precisely to the workpiece. A manual 60 mm Y‑axis provides additional flexibility for part placement.

Two probe arm lengths are supported, allowing the system to handle both small features and larger profile elements:

• 10 mm measuring range with a 100 mm probe arm
• 25 mm measuring range with a 250 mm probe arm
